Slad Village
Slad sits in a steep sided predominately wooded valley. It boasts a small church which houses a stained glass window dedicated to Slad’s most famous resident, the author Laurie Lee. He is buried in the churchyard in the valley he loved overlooking his favourite watering hole, The Woolpack Pub. Food is available, however booking advised.
